What is your opinion on crypto long term? Do you think US gov will create a “UScoin”?

It’s a very astute point in the disparity of outcome based upon the district where charges are lodged in the FTX fiasco.

To the extend he has any “pull” demeaning, I suspect his team in working on venue as a full time daily issue these days.

I'm late to the party with this comment but there is irony in people using a centralized system to buy "decentralized" currency. This is part of the core problem with cryptocurrency in my estimation - broad adoption requires centralization, which defeats the entire purpose. I think there could be creative ways to work around this but it would require ditching the current crypto model.

I 100% agree WRT crypto adding to the gambling space. People already use it as a way to gamble (buying currency with no value backing in hopes it will go up in value). I'm sure they would relish a way to gamble further on their "investment".

AI is having a larger role in drug development these days -- for instance, generative models can produce antibodies and small molecules that bind to a given protein. AI, I estimate, will probably dominate drug development end-to-end in the next 5 years -- replacing traditional compute-intensive molecular dynamics simulations. I'm just wondering if you've thought about this in the context of Druglike?

The FTX political connections need to be explored, not written off because some theories are getting a little crazy.

My suspicion is that all “utility tokens” minted by exchanges are worthless but what made ftx spicy is the addition of depositor funds used to bankroll alameda. Will drop you a note on online gambling, there is an interplay with decentralized finance for sure.

I really appreciate you talking about avoiding wild speculation in the FTX collapse. We’ve gotten so sensationalized as a society that people substitute reality for their own fiction action-adventure movie and get more caught up in their imaginary story than evaluating what’s going on and what we can do to change/fix the situation.

Only time will tell in the coming weeks, months, and years how far (if at all) the contagion has spread but I hope this doesn’t cause deeper trust issues in the crypto space long-term.

Looking forward to more updates on your work! I believe with the current Fed actions, and now with FTX getting washed, we’re approaching a season of change and growth, just need to make sure we’re on the right side of the wave.
