I’m “back in the saddle” with a strangely competitive proposition: live-streaming trading. Trading is difficult enough as it is, adding a voyeuristic element compounds the obstacle of navigating one’s emotions while investing. Be that as it may, here are some “insights”.
News trading seems to work just fine: shorted VERV & APLS for compelling intraday moves.
Meme stocks are not the same. GME pays you 30% to own it, AMC does not.
Related: small moves matter in non-dynamic businesses. AMC is fairly valued at 10-12. It is not at 16.
LQDA/Liquidia is a cheap stock in my eyes. I will do a full write-up eventually. Some news came out and kind of scared me into revealing my hand on r/WSB.
MSFT, INTU, ADBE, MDT appeared fairly valued, at first pass.
I couldn’t make heads or tails PLTR at ‘first pass’. Looks expensive at first blush I guess.
GOOG & BABA look cheap. FB too, but a little less so.
Current positions:
LONG: LQDA, BABA, GOOG, RBLX, TSLA, NFLX
SHORT: AMC, ADIL, SIGA, AVXL, UBI.FP, CVM
I uploaded various models and other files on github.com/martinshkreli/models. A trade blotter of every transaction is also included under ‘Competition.xlsx’. I hope they’re useful and I’ll continue to dump content on there for the programmatically inclined. I’ll try to include some quantitative trading tools, as well.
I’m working on web3 computational chemistry software, which is very close to a public reveal. If you’re interested in this field, feel free to email me at martin@martinshkreli.com or find me on twitter at @zkEnrique7 or @shkreliruleof5.
Feel free to send me feedback on anything!
I lost my life savings on NFLX puts
Stream was great, I recomend people here to check it out and try to digg the parts when Enrique is talking about "scam" biotech. Great having you back!
