I am glad a platform exists to share your side of the story. Traditional media is very afraid of Twitter and Substack.

Why does how you live matter to them? All I care is your content and product. I heard of you from my finance professor who tried to hire you as a professor for my master of financial analysis program. Your podcasts and software are both great. Keep up with the good works.

You got it! It's like comparing two infomercial hosts – one selling you a "revolutionary" mop, the other a "life-changing" set of steak knives. Same energy, different product.

They both crank up the hype machine to eleven, using headlines that hit you like a shot of espresso – tiny, shocking, and probably over-caffeinated. The goal? To make you believe their version of the story, even if it's built on a foundation shakier than a Jenga tower after a few rounds.

So, yeah, let them churn out their "breaking news" that's about as reliable as a weather forecast two weeks out. You just keep doing you. Be like a silent, badass ninja of progress – improving, helping, and letting your actions speak louder than any clickbait article.

And hey, even Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) got the "terrorist in the jungle" treatment from Time magazine. Goes to show, sometimes the "bad press" is just proof you're doing something interesting ! Keep on truckin', my friend. The best revenge is massive success...

Bloomberg's rush to sensationalize Shkreli's lifestyle reeks more of media desperation than journalistic integrity.

Media being media. I am just wondering, why do they want to comment on someone's standard of living? Are they paying the bills? What concern do they have where he lives and how much is he spending on living. These idiots I tell you. Write about the good things he's doing. Spent 4 years in the can, came out and bounced back.. Nope, we ain't gonna write anything like that. Give some coverage to the Godel Terminal, Bloomberg. Critique that if you want to but not on someone's standard of living That's cheap.

My take on this is that these news agencies don’t write about boring people. You draw interest, for one reason or the other. No publicity is bad publicity. Let people believe what they want, who cares. Tomorrow they are onto the next shit show thing. People love to libel & slander to feel good about themselves.

You’ve come a long way. You have fcked up, but he who hasn’t shall throw the first stone. Keep a detached perspective, don’t let the indignant feelings take over. It looks like you have started anew and that is inspiring. Believe it or not, you have an inspiring life as an underdog who overcomes. That’s your story. Everyone loves that fcking story. That story sells. It’s human.

I’m reminded of John Mayer’s ‘Shadow Days’ song. Look up the lyrics. I think you’ll find they are quite fitting…

Best of Luck 🍀

When did we start to believe the media was real? It has always been a fictional opinion on an event that may, or may not, have happened. We see the truth and we here lies - will be the same however much the machine turbocharges the system. Even Winston muttered the words, "the fish I caught was yay big" - "really" -
